Cover chicken with water. Add onion and stalk of celery to water and simmer until done. Bone the breasts and cut in bite-size pieces.
Cook broccoli according to package directions; drain well.
Spread broccoli in 9x13 inch baking dish or pan. Layer chicken over broccoli.
Mix soup, mayonnaise, lemon juice, curry powder, salt and pepper. Pour over chicken. Top with cheese, then bread crumbs*. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 - 40 minutes. Serves four.
* For bread crumbs, take two slices of regular bread and butter one side. Cut into ½ inch cubes. Place bread cubes butter side up on top of cheese.
