Chili Cheese Log


Ingredients

1 lb Velveeta Cheese (room temperature)
one 3 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened (room temperature)
one 4 oz. can diced green ortega chilies, drained
½ small can chopped black olives
½ small jar pimento, drained and diced

Directions

Roll out Velveeta between two pieces of wax paper to about 14x8 inch size. Remove top piece of wax paper and Spread Velveeta with cream cheese. Down the center put chilies, olives & pimento. Using the bottom piece of wax paper, fold over each end so it is 14 in. long. Similarly, fold over the two sides and press down making sure velveeta seals in everything.

Tip: to invert the log onto the serving platter, place the platter upside down on top of the cheese log. Supporting the cheese log with one hand and forearm, flip the log onto the serving platter. Leave the wax paper (which is now on top of the log) on until ready to serve.
