Quick Bread Machine Recipe
[ 1 1/2 pound (large) loaf]
First: Activate Yeast.
1/4 cup very warm (100 - 120 °F) water
1/2 tsp sugar
2 tsp yeast (For Bread Machines)
Second: Liquid Ingredients.
Add to bread Pan:
1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt
1/3 cup plus 1 tbl plus 1 tsp water
1 tbl lemon juice
1 tbl margarine or butter (softened)
Third: Dry Ingredients.
3 1/4 cups Gold Medal ® Better for bread © Flour
1 1/2 tsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
Add all dry ingredients to liquid already in bread pan.
Next dig a shallow hole on top of dry ingredients. Then pour activated yeast mixture into hole.
Choose "french/medium/large" bread machine settings.
