1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup sugar
1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cream of tartar
4 ½ cups flour
In large bowl cream together sugars and butter. Beat in oil. Add eggs one at a time,
beating well after each addition. Mix in vanilla, salt, baking powder, cream of tartar
and flour until well blended. Chill dough.
Form dough into small balls and place on greased cookie sheets. Flatten with bottom
of glass or decorative press dipped in sugar.
Bake for 10 minutes at 350 °. Makes about 8 dozen cookies
