Cranberry-Orange Bread
Ingredients
2 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 TBL. margarine
grated rind of one orange
juice of one orange + enough water to make 3/4 cup
1 egg (beaten)
1 cup fresh cranberries (cut in half)
Directions
Sift together all dry ingredients and set aside. Mix together by hand, margarine, orange juice, orange rind, and egg. Then combine with dry ingredients. Fold in cranberries and pour into greased loaf pan.
Bake in 350° oven for one hour. Let cool before removing from pan.
