New Luminous Rosary Mysteries
- The Baptism of Jesus in the Jordan River by John the Baptist
- Jesus changes water into wine at the wedding of Cana
- Jesus proclaims the Kingdom of God and the forgiveness of sins
- Jesus is Transfigured on Mount Tabor
- Jesus Establishes the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist
These new mysteries fill in the gaps between the Joyful mysteries and the sorrowful mysteries and
now the rosary calls us to meditation on the complete life of Jesus on earth including his public
ministry.
The Holy Father, JOHN PAUL II, suggests praying the LUMINOUS mysteries on THURSDAYS.
(Joyful mysteries on MON and SAT; Luminous mysteries on THU; Sorrowful mysteries on TUE and FRI;
and Glorious mysteries on WED and SUN)
