Sand Cookies


Ingredients

4 cups sifted flour
1 cup of sifted powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup butter
1 cup crisco
2 tsp. flavoring

Directions

Blend flour, powdered sugar and salt.

Add butter, crisco and flavoring.

Work with hands until smooth. Chill overnight in refrigerator.

When ready to bake, roll dough into small balls between palms of hands. Place balls on cookie sheet, mash flat with fingers into round thin cookies.

Bake about 10 minutes at 350°.
